This is arc is the most boring imo. Seems like it's a bit TOO easy for Souma to win until some bs stuff happens again. If he does win... great! On to the next arc! Since they're in their 2nd year, I want to see the new first years (TBH they should've done that first.) Great series nonetheless!

Idk how to feel about the Soma vx. Asahi battle. I want Soma to win, but it's wayyyyyyyy too early considering Asahi beat his father.
Soma didn't even undergo a training process before facing off with Asahi again, so it's complete BS if he wins, but STILLLLL I dont want him to lose😓.
If Soma wins, I bet it's gonna be some bs like "Your cross knives skill betrayed you" or some sht.

This chapter wasn't half bad and I kinda knew Souma would remember his days at Shinos.

Looking forward to the conclusion.

FFS souma already has most of the fundamental skills for most of the cuisines they're doing, and he has great sources/mentors/inspiration for them; Aldini for italian, shinomiya for french, hayama for indian, that mapodofu senpai for chinese, the only one i'm not sure of is turkish cuisine. And he's taking Erina into account for this dish because Erina is best girl!

mapotofu senpai is Kuga Terunori.And Souma could be travelling like Megumi to learn Turkish cuisine off screen.

Lmao, Nakiri said he always thought practice is more important and Erina looks like it's some kind of a huge discovery. Seriously, is this the whole point of this arc and the very existence of abilities? To show how practice is more important? Wasn't it obvious all along? What a lame way to prove a point no one even doubted.

I seriously think the writer and artist should end this manga after this arc (or at most one more arc), else it would just continue going downhill. Let the ships sail, and then we are done. But anyway, at least they kept the battles exciting (especially this one).

It was to be expected of Souma that he would come up with a bizarre method for this culinary encounter.
The four eyes that licks Asahi's feet look very confident with his words, I hope to see his face after the humiliating defeat of Asashit (I just realized that people start using this ingenious nickname for this pathetic villain).
But despite the madness that Souma sets out to make, his friends look very calm, which gives me more confidence that Souma will kick ass Asashit and eventually Erina too (let's be honest, she deserves a crushing defeat for part of Souma too, her little faith is enough for her to be humiliated with defeat)
Senzaemon reminds Erina that a true chef uses his skills and knowledge and not special powers and then we see Souma use all his skill preparing all the different styles of cooking at a perfect pace, we also see all the chefs who were fundamental in the growth of Souma, including Shinomiya and his staff of his restaurant.

Souma manages to finish his dish on time without giving Asashit an advantage, now it's time for tasting and evaluation. Who will be the ones who will evaluate these two dishes?
I hope they are not more people of the WGO, I would be surprised if Leonora appeared with her husband and Azami as judges.
