This game is PERFECT. The story, the music, the characters, everything works finely together. I think everyone who watches/listens to this video has played it, but if by any chance you happen to find yourself here randomly, PLEASE, buy it. It will be one of the best gaming experiences of your life.
Bought this game about a week ago without knowing anything about it. It would be a lie if i said I wasnt amazed by it. Every single aspect is top notch, and that includes the music, of course.
Same! Except I didn't have to buy it, just discovered it in my library after the 1.0 patch. Must have gotten it in Early Access in a bundle ages ago lol.
People DO that? As in,. buy a game without knowing anything about it at all? Pesonally I at least check the genre, some reviews etc. Stuff on my wishlist is usually stuff i'd actually pick up and play - maybe not always at full price (basically never) but at least at 50% off or more.
@@bbrtki i legit found out about it because i was bored so i went and looked at my friend's wishlist. Thats where i saw it and i quickly bought it because it seemed very interesting and fun. Needless to say, this became one of my favs in no time.
A challenging game. I guarantee you’ll die a lot on your first play through, and most definitely get stuck on some dungeons. Such an underrated game man. It feels like Zelda with stats.
One of the best games I have ever played with some of the most endearing characters. An incredible story with fantastic combat. It doesn't get better than CrossCode. The soundtrack was heavily slept on it's so peaceful and relaxing. Truly a masterpiece and unbelievably underrated.
Ever since I played this on PS4 last summer, its been etched into my memory of one of my favorite RPG soundtracks. Been playing games since the NES days, and this one absolutely nailed the kind of music RPGs should have. Super catchy, amazing tunes. I really hope you continue to make more gaming soundtracks like this in the future.
Crosscode was one of those random games I bought while it was still in beta. When I heard the title theme, I knew this game was going to be amazing. Still, I go back to it when there's nothing else to play. What a gem!
I just wanted to say this soundtrack is fantastic. There is a cohesive sound throughout the whole thing which ties the songs together while gathering the emotion that particular track is to convey. I listen to game soundtracks on the regular and this is a solid piece of work.
This Game is a masterpiece! The games music is a treat for everyone who played Alundra, Phantasy Star Online, Ys, Final Fantasy, .//hack and many many more as a kid. Especially the PSO references in this soundtrack are amazing! I really can't believe this exists - it's too good!
I have praised this game and it's music so many times already, but it deserves every bit of attention and much more. i love it, it's one of my fav games of all time and I will be there day 1 for Project Terra. You did fantastic Deniz. Just keep doing what you do as you feel it and enjoy it. I know you have been putting a lot of work and that is not easy to be a composer. Know that we for sure enjoy hearing your work :)
This game is seriously one of my favourite discoveries of this year. So good and so well-polished, and the music is a big part of that. I especially love Emilie's and Apollo's themes (25:54 and 27:12).
This OST nails the 90s / 00s Japanese VGM vibe. The only downside is that certain songs are so close in feel that I end up thinking more about the game/s they were inspired by than CrossCode.
I can't stress enough how much I love your work in this game. You went from someone I had never heard of to one of my favorite composers of the year. I love the bits of inspiration from Mega Man or Phantasy Star here and there, it suits the game so damn well. Now I'm just hoping that I can get to buy the soundtrack soon. -Or win the NPC dialog contest.-
Sorry I'm late to the game. I just finished it. I've been playing games like this for decades, and this is an outstanding soundtrack! I hope you are continuing to make music for future games or albums. I'd buy one instantly. Waiting for your next soundtrack.
34:12 Once I finish the game I will go back to the harbor and go all the way to the very end in one session while killing everything in my path and getting tons of S ranks while fighting
I love this game and it's soundtrack so much! I'm so mad I only just found out about it, everything about this is criminally underrated. Thanks for the upload! Gonna cop a CD version myself soon :)
Been properly working through the game over the last year (started in March, but then all sorts of things meant putting it down until September) and it's been one helluva trip. The music's definitely been a great part of it - I'm always fond of that particular type of organ that plays in The Ultimate Experience. I think it's a Hammond organ, but it might have a different name in other spaces; either way, these are some cracking tunes!
I had to look up whether this game's soundtrack was composed by Noriyuki Iwadare. Almost immediately I was getting serious Lunar/Grandia vibes. What a wonderful soundtrack.
True, Yasunori Mitsuda in general, amongst others. I hear Termina, Hydra Swamp, Millenial Fair, but well... a lot of inspiration here and there, but truly internalized concepts, and re-structured. Is it's own work.
I'm so happy I learned about this game, it is now one of my favorite games of all time. The soundtrack is so amazing and it was a cruicial part in this game being truly the ultimate experience. While I absolutely loved the whole soundtrack, I would have to say my favorites are Raid, Shizuka, and Temple of Thunder.
God I love temple of thunder so much. This game is killer, one of my top 10 ever played and I've always been a gamer since the OG NES days. The soundtrack is even better.
This game and the awesome soundtrack carried the Year 2020 and my summer holidays for me. It was one of my little highlights, vielen Dank für diesen Wundervollen Track.
Anyone want to talk about the fact that this composer pays a huge homage to Herbie Hancock out during M.S. Solar and welcome to cross worlds? Direct references to Maiden Voyage end MS Solar, and then it gets orchestrated across the low horns for WtCW. I love this game so mcuh, but I also love Herbie Hancock and this was a huge discovery for me, further solidifying this game as one of my absolute favorites of all time.
The standard edition was on GamePass some months ago. I blasted through this game with so much vigor that I got the Delux Edition before it left GamePass. Best money I spent, and I ain't afraid to say it.
I haven't gotten that far into the game yet but damn, I'm loving the ost. I was gonna comment on my favourite songs but that would be half the songs already xd
You made these awesome soundtracks? Thanks my dude! The final boss soundtrack is just as great as it should be, but the other soundtracks aren't bad either. In fact, they are all pretty good and fitting.
If you guys like this then you guys should definitely check out the first Ragnarok Online soundtrack. Similar vibes/sound design on certain tracks, it's still one of my favorites to this day
I wonder if the sound bite at 02:03:07 is public domain or something, because it's exactly the same as the one from Metroid Prime Hunters' main theme: ruclips.net/video/ErMydjOmIMs/видео.html
I wish some of the individual tracks were a bit longer, like at least 3 maybe 4 minutes, particularly when listening to them without the game. It's a great in-game soundtrack, though.
The Switch release is the final chance to this game to shine. But there isn't even a release video on Nintendo channel yet, I'm a little worried. I really wanted this hidden gen to fucking shine but I think it will not...
Yo love the music, Vermillion Dungeon is one of my fav songs, just wanted to point out the time stamp in the description and video bar is wrong for Vermillion Dungeon. should be 2:05:11 or 2:05:12 or w/e not sure where exactly but definitely not 2:05:55.
Great Soundtrack. I will soon look into this game. What kind of VST Plug-Ins did you use for the production? Can you recommend some for this kind of retro music or did you use other sound sources?

Can’t believe this game isn’t more popular. It was INSANE HOW WELL MADE IT WAS
The quality is so good
Okey but,
*Apollo theme slaps harden than his combat arts combos.*
Lea's theme is everywhere
Newcomer's Bridge perfectly encapsulates being a noob in every MMO I've ever played. Pure genius.

Emilie's neck: ( (
easier to chop off
Joern's neck: / \
How dare you make me notice this with my own eyes!
Look at that chad face. He needs all that neck to support it.
I wish that more people knew about this incredible game. It is now my favourite game of all time and this soundtrack really added so much to it
The most hidden gem of all time. The music just makes it 100x better
In a world of choices, everyone seems to pick the wrong ones. Why isn't this game so much more popular?
A challenging game. I guarantee you’ll die a lot on your first play through, and most definitely get stuck on some dungeons. Such an underrated game man. It feels like Zelda with stats.
A challenging wet fair game on every of its aspect with a good adjustement of the difficulty
Those are rare these days.
This soundtrack is PHENOMENAL! So many memorable tracks, enhancing the experience!
nothing better than a game and its soundtrack working together well
An awesome soundtrack for an awesome game!
Music was solid, just slightly retro. Awakened at 4:53 gave me Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door vibes, and 1:31 got that Chrono Trigger vibe.
The game has an amazing BGM, it also feels like it has it's own "Crosscode" feels to it.
One of the best games I have ever played with some of the most endearing characters. An incredible story with fantastic combat. It doesn't get better than CrossCode. The soundtrack was heavily slept on it's so peaceful and relaxing. Truly a masterpiece and unbelievably underrated.
This entire soundtrack would be great even if it was just by itself, but it also complements the game perfectly.
There's so much jazz fusion and 80s/90s synth influence here. I'm hearing a lot of Dimension and T-Square.

This soundtrack takes me to such amazing places.
Man, this game and soundtrack is so good. I hope, someday this will become an anime it deserves to be.
The Ultimate Experience sounds like what would Emerson, Lake and Palmer would sound in the future. Love that track

I love this OST... It perfectly catches that 90s weird future vibe; I can't really put my finger on it, but its beautiful.

"The Experience" reminds me of a Fire Emblem combat theme. Great work all around!

What a wonderful soundtrack.
Temple of the Valley is phenomenal.
Yes it's great, in some parts remind me of carpenter's "big trouble in little china" OST
Your work added to this game what Yasunori Mitsuda's added to Chrono Trigger. It's awesome. Thank you -- which game will you be working on next?
Most of my play-through definitely makes me feel like I'm playing Chrono trigger thats for sure.
When I reached Bergen trail I had so much chrono vibes! Lol Well done.

Such a great OST. Getting real strong Secret of Evermore vibes and it's motivating me to go back and finally finish this game.
Is no one going to talk about the amazing art tho
Yea, it looks great.
Some elements of it kinda reminds me of a Dreamcast era RPG.
Not right now. I'm all about this soundtrack.
Character art is hit-or-miss, but the logo and level design and background scenery are amazing.
Love this soundtrack, gives me a Gen 5 Pokemon/Chrono Trigger typa vibe
